As the developing nations face unique challenges with the design, construction and operations of existing as well as new infrastructure, various advanced technologies gain importance to develop the cities and bring in efficiency in the work. Geospatial technology is one of the key enabling technologies being used in overall planning, deployment, delivery, maintenance, and management of the infrastructure. The need and intricacy to effectively manage India’s infrastructure has become a priority for the government.
